Meeting Spaces

 

Dining Hall

Relax as you enjoy your well prepared meal ranging from our basic menu to an elegant catered affair in our comfortable home-style dining facility that seats up to 300 guests. The dining hall can be set up in a variety of configurations, ranging from rows of long tables for large groups, to round tables for a more personal setting with smaller groups.

The dining hall has a small stage with a sound system that can be used for a microphone and to play music.

 

Cherokee Conference Center

The Cherokee Conference Center is a beautiful facility that can host your next meeting, retreat, or outing. It can accommodate up to 400 guests, and is equipped with excellent audio/visual equipment. You can use this space for activities, meetings, presentations, showing movies, live music, and more! This space also features banquet facilities to meet your needs.

The Cherokee Conference Center is surrounded by four separate motel units. With a total of 48 private rooms, Camp Heart O' Hills can comfortably accommodate your group. We offer single rooms, double rooms, and handicap accessible rooms. Each hotel has a comfortable lobby area where you can lounge, watch TV, and fellowship.

 

Sequoyah Auditorium

The Sequoyah Auditorium is a multipurpose facility that can function as an activity area, meeting space, and concert venue. This facility includes a large theatrical stage with state of the art sound, video, and lighting equipment that is perfect for showing movies, live music, presentations, performances, and more! There is also a banquet kitchen attached, making this a true multi-purpose facility.

The same motel units that surround the Conference Center are just steps away from Gym as well.

 

Activity Center

With a capacity of up to 400 guests, the activity center is located on the lower level of the camp near the pool. One side of the Activity Center has a large deck that stretches over a pond. The other side opens up to the basketball court and pool area.

The inside of the Activity Center features a sound system, projector with computer connections and a DVD player, a stage, and a rock fireplace. This is one of the most flexible spaces on camp, and is perfect for movies, activities, meetings, games, music, and nearly anything else that you can think of!

Oakdale Units

Alongside of the Activity Center and surrounding our pool are the Oakdale units. All of these cabins are climate controlled, with their own bathroom, making them convenient classroom and activity space.

Amphitheater

The outdoor amphitheater is another of the most historic areas of camp. This is a beautiful spot for plays, skits, dramas, music, and much more!

Outdoor Chapels

The Outdoor Chapels are some of the original meeting spaces on camp. One chapel is an open-air area located near the pool that features a small stage. If you cross the creek behind the open-air chapel, you will find yourself in a semi-secluded area that includes the Margaret Replogle Chapel. Based on a Frank Lloyd Wright design, the this space is integrated with the beauty of the surrounding landscape and is one of the favorite meeting and activity areas on camp.

The Margaret Replogle Chapel features ceiling fans that keep the area cool in the summer, and is protected from wind and rain by the building and the surrounding landscape. A sound system is available upon request.

Conservatory of Music & Arts

Tucked away in Camp Heart O' Hills is the Conservatory of Music and Arts building. This building houses numerous music and arts programs throughout the year. This building has three large rooms and several smaller rooms that can be used for rehearsals, meetings, classes, etc. In front of the Conservatory is a beautiful deck that that is perfect for get-togethers, cookouts, relaxation, and more. The Conservatory is surrounded by cabin units.

 

 

Lodging

 

Conference Center Hotel Units

A wonderful feature of Camp Heart O' Hills is the Conference Center Hotel units. Surrounding our Conference Center facility are four hotel-style buildings. Each building has 12 rooms with single, double, and handicap-accessible rooms available. Our spacious rooms are designed to let you relax in comfort and peace while you are our guest. Each room features a private bathroom, writing desk, dresser, heating, and air-conditioning. Each Conference Center Hotel building also features a comfortable lobby area with television, refrigerator, microwave, sink, and plenty of seating for you to fellowship with others. If your group would like to use the Conference Center or Sequoyah facilities, this housing option is especially convenient as each hotel is only steps away from both buildings.

Cottages

If you are looking for a retreat from the outside world complete with all the comforts we have to offer, this is the option for you. Our cottages are self contained suites with one or two bedroom options available. All of them feature a full kitchen equipped with utensils and cookware, bathroom (most feature a jacuzzi tub), dining area, and living area. This is the perfect way to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. All interiors are tastefully decorated and designed to make you feel right at home.

Adobe and Teepee

The Adobe and Teepee units are the perfect blend between communal and private lodging. Rooming options range from single-bed rooms to rooms with two bunk beds. All beds are twin size. In the Adobe unit, two rooms share one bathroom. In the Teepee unit, there is one large bathroom that all the rooms share. Both units feature a lounge for everyone to hang out.

Cabins

Each of our cabins encompasses 5,882 square feet of living space divided into 4 quadrants, with each section having it's own private counselor room and bath. Each quadrant features 10-12 beds and a large bathroom. These cabins are designed to give plenty of personal space to everyone with ample storage areas in the drawers and shelving surrounding each bed. All cabins exceed ACA standards, are climate controlled year-round, and handicap-accessible cabins are available. Whether you have 30 or 300 in your group, we can accommodate you comfortably in our cabins.

 

Recreation

Swimming Pool

Enjoy a refreshing swim in our pool! With water slides, a diving board, a mushroom fountain, and plenty of sunbathing chairs, this is the perfect place to escape the sun. A gently sloping entry to the pool allows you to enjoy any depth of water you desire. Camp Heart O' Hills provides it's own certified lifeguards to ensure the safety of your group.

Challenge Course

The ropes course at Camp Heart O' Hills is unlike anything else in the region. Featuring a rope swing, zipline, and multiple elements of varying difficulty, there is something for everyone! Our staff partners with Challenge Quest, based out of Tulsa, for a one-of-a-kind ropes course experience.

In addition to our high ropes course, we also offer a low ropes challenge area. These series of elements are excellent for team building, trust exercises, and just plain fun!

Other Activities

Take advantage of fishing in our pond or lake, playing basketball, volleyball, tennis or dodgeball on our athletic courts, picking up a game of soccer, football, or baseball on our athletic field, taking aim on our archery range and paintball course, hitting the hiking trails, and roasting marshmallows around the camp fire!
