Your donations can be funneled directly back into the community through The Salvation Army

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – During the heat of the pandemic, some organizations halted donation collections. Now, The Salvation Army has a plan to safely accept those items.

"All of our staff are wearing masks and gloves. They take the donations, the donations sit there for at least 24-48 hours before they get processed," Maj. Douglas McClure said. "That gives them the time to dry out and to make sure there's nothing on them."
