Employee Spotlight: Kelly Holzer
Kelly Holzer serves as the Database Coordinator for The Salvation Army of Greenville. In her role, she keeps track of the many services provided to the clients seeking assistance from the organization. But beyond that, Kelly is a vital part of The Salvation Army team, helping out wherever she’s needed.
Kelly says she’s inspired working at The Salvation Army because she loves seeing the moments of happiness that happen every day. “Whether it’s someone we helped to secure permanent housing, or helping someone find a job, I just love helping someone find that happy moment.”
She feels The Salvation Army is needed in our community because, “we do the best we can to help someone in need, and if we’re unable to help them, we do all we can to find them a place that can.” She finds the Dolly Parton lyric, “If you don’t like the road you’re walking, start paving a new one,” helps her walk alongside The Salvation Army’s clients as they work to rebuild their lives.
When Kelly isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and being outdoors. “I love watching my kids find their happiness just playing in the yard.”
