Alexandria Citadel Corps

The Salvation Army at Alexandria Citadel Corps is helping people meet their basic needs – and turn their lives around. Year-round support is available for people in crisis. At the core of it all is the commitment to meeting the spiritual needs of the community, through weekly church services and Bible study, which is open to everyone. Skilled music teachers also volunteer their time to tutor school-aged students in brass banding and music theory. Each semester ends with a recital so students can share their talent with the community.

Community Programs*

Social Services by appointment only
- Our best resource is our phone number – 703-836-2427. We are able to help (in English and Spanish) and make referrals on a real-time basis. Please call other office for more information or to make an appointment.
Salt & Light Night- A character building program for youth ages 5-12. Mondays at 5:00 pm
Youth and Music Programs on Tuesdays at 5:00 pm (pre-registration required)
Praise Band, Senior Band, and Songsters on Thursdays at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm, and 7:30 pm

Spiritual Care and Worship*

Coffee and Donuts Sundays at 9:30 am
Sunday School on Sundays at 9:45 am
Morning Worship on Sundays at 10:45 am
