Bridges of Hope: The Salvation Army's 30th Annual William Booth Society Gala Raises $1.2 Million to Transform Lives

Mar 21, 2023 | by Jessica Orth

The Salvation Army's 30th Annual William Booth Society Gala was a night to remember, held on March 21, 2023 at the Cox Business Convention Center. With the theme of "Bridges of Hope," it was an evening filled with fun, laughter, and inspiration. The atmosphere was electric as guests from all over the community came together to support the incredible work of The Salvation Army.

The honorary chairs for the evening were Sean & Angela Kouplen and Roger & Terri Ramseyer, who were the life of the party. They greeted guests with a warm smile and set the tone for the night. The mistress of ceremonies was the lovely Julie Chin, who kept the evening flowing with her wit and charm, making everyone feel like they were part of the action.

The entertainment was amazing, featuring a live art auction and several photo booths that had guests posing and snapping photos all night long. The excitement in the air was palpable, and the energy in the room was dynamic.

Over 1,000 guests attended the event, and their generosity and support helped The Salvation Army raise over $1.2 million to provide "Bridges of Hope" to those in need in Green Country. It was a testament to the power of community and the impact we can have when we come together for a common cause.

The guest speaker, Tim Tebow, was a force of nature. His passion and energy were contagious, and he had the audience on the edge of their seats. He spoke about the importance of giving till it hurts and shared inspiring stories about what he has learned in life. His words resonated with the guests, and they left feeling inspired and uplifted.

The William Booth Society Gala was a fun-filled and impactful evening, bringing together members of the community in support of The Salvation Army's vital work. The funds raised will make a real difference in the lives of those struggling with poverty, addiction, homelessness, and other challenges. The Salvation Army is grateful for the support of everyone who attended and contributed, and looks forward to “Doing The Most Good” together to change lives and build a brighter future for all.
