Wayde Normandin, our Volunteer and Disaster Resource Manager for The Salvation Army Tulsa Metro Area Command is preparing for a disaster deployment assignment with the Arkansas & Oklahoma (AOK) Divisional Incident Management Team (IMT) for Hurricane Helene response efforts in the North Carolina Division. He will deploy as a member of the Incident Managment Team in the role of Safety Officer and will be working out of the Asheville/Hendersonville, NC area. He will be departing on Saturday October 12th, and returning on October 25th.

Wayde's experience, training and unwavering dedication as an employee for the past six years with The Salvation Army makes him exceptionally well-suited for this challenging role. His ability to provide both practical assistance and support will be invaluable to all those he works with.

We are confident that Wayde's contributions will significantly enhance the response efforts, and we are proud to have him represent our organization in this capacity.
