Grant Analyst - Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi Division

The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for a Grant Analyst for the Divisional Headquarters located in Jackson, MS.

This position receives, researches, locates, analyzes, prioritizes, and contacts funding sources in order to apply for grant funds; develop and maintains relationships with funders, prepares complex grant applications, writes narratives and compiles required paperwork to maximize opportunities for financial support for new and/or existing programs; ensures grant compliance by requesting and reviewing documents from all local units; serves as liaison to funding sources; represents The Salvation Army by performing community public speaking and networking to promote funding support for The Salvation Army’s programs and develops and maintains, relationships with community leaders in order to promote support for Salvation Army programs.

Divisional Music Director - Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi Division

The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for a Divisional Music Director for the Divisional Headquarters located in Jackson, MS.

This position plans, administers and conducts the development and performance of youth and senior music sections of The Salvation Army Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi Division; monitors all musical forces in the division including Corps area and divisional music groups; develops musical standards by teaching music at the Corps and divisional level; develops, implements and leads virtual educational, practice and information sessions on a regular basis; creates and publishes a variety of hard copy and electronic publications for distribution to various levels of leadership and program participants; maintains various social media platforms; educates and develops leadership for all Corps music programs; organizes and plans all music days, camps, and conservatories; serves as a resource person for information and materials to music leaders and Corps Officers.
