We hope you’ve had an exciting National Salvation Army Week! We’re sharing just a few (it was hard to choose) unique ways that local communities celebrated.

      • Wells Fargo’s Duke Energy Center in Charlotte, North Carolina lit up red in honor of The Salvation Army!

      • Rome, Georgia hosted a community block party with live music, a giant inflatable slide, food and more to thank neighbors and friends of the Army.
      • Local restaurants partnered with the National Capital Area Command for dining for Othersbenefiting The Salvation Army.
      • Mayor Frank Hash of El Dorado, Arkansas gave a proclamation announcing Salvation Army Week!
      • The Salvation Army in Lubbock, Texas visited Texas Tech to hand out free hot dogs, water, chips and coffee to help the students survive finals week!

We are so thankful for our rich history and the donors, volunteers, officers and salvationist’s who help us do the most good!
