Words of Life podcast set to explore Salvation Army doctrines with ‘We Believe' series
Words of Life is a worldwide audio program of hope from The Salvation Army. Released in 15-minute episodes, Words of Life features inspiring conversation, music from Salvation Army artists, and a weekly Bible study. As 2022 begins, the show will launch a new, 11-week series centered on the doctrines of The Salvation Army.
Lt. Colonel Dan Starrett, a retired Salvation Army officer now serving alongside his wife in Oregon, recently shared a desire to highlight the basics of a Salvationist’s faith in light of culture today. From that aim sprung the series, titled “We Believe,” which begins on Sunday, Jan. 9 with a weekly release through Sunday, Mar. 20.
The We Believe series studies the 11 doctrines of The Salvation Army while evaluating their impact on the everyday lives of Christians. Lt. Colonel Starrett completes each episode with a "pick and choose,” highlighting one’s personal response to that doctrine and how it applies to life and theology.
