Dates: October 17-20

The Salvation Army's premier brass band for the southeastern United States is making a special visit to Knoxville this October! Led by the accomplished Bandmaster Nick Simmons-Smith, the "Southern Staff Band" will be performing throughout the region from October 17-20.

This 30-piece ensemble is comprised of some of the most skilled men and women musicians within The Salvation Army, each dedicated to using their talents for mission and ministry. Many of these musicians first learned to play in local Salvation Army churches and music schools, and now they give back by teaching the next generation of young musicians, serving at summer camp conservatories, and participating in worship meetings every week.

Throughout the weekend, the band will perform at various locations across Knoxville and East Tennessee, bringing the joy of music and the message of hope to our community.
