OUR MISSION

At The Salvation Army Kroc Academy, we empower every young person—especially those who need us most—to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. We accomplish this through targeted programming and a structured environment that promotes academic success, strong character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. All our staff are licensed by the State of Texas and are CPR and First Aid certified. We design engaging activities that spark imagination, curiosity, and a love for learning, inspiring your children to “BE GREAT.”

SUMMER CAMP

Kroc Academy Summer Camp 2026 – Exploring the Nature of God

9 Weeks of Fun, Friends & Adventure - Registration opens online March 16! Get ready for the best summer ever at the Kerrville Kroc Center! Our 9-week Summer Camp series is packed with imagination, adventure, and hands-on activities your kids will love.Each week features its own exciting theme, and families can pick and choose whichever weeks work for them. Just register for the weeks you want—and only pay for those weeks!

All registration is online this year! To sign up, families will need to create a free Kroc Center online account.

Not a member yet? No problem—just click the “Become a Member” button at the top right corner of our webpage to get started. (Membership is not required to attend camp.)

 

What Your Camper Will Enjoy Each Day

Every day of camp is thoughtfully planned by our staff to keep kids active, engaged, and smiling! Activities may include:

• Arts & Crafts

• STEM Projects

• Storybook Reading Hour

• Swimming

• Outdoor Play

• Indoor Games

• Gym Time

• Game Room Adventures

Plus—breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack are included in the weekly price!

Weekly Rate starts at $145 - Includes all activities + meals + full-day programming.

Camp Dates & Hours

Monday, June 1 – Friday, July 31

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Whether your child joins us for one week or all nine, they’ll spend the summer exploring new skills, making new friends, and creating memories they’ll be talking about all year long.

KROC ACADEMY AFTERSCHOOL CARE

Kroc Academy Afterschool Care offers a structured and enriching environment for children ages 5-12 throughout the school year. Here's what you can expect:

  • Convenient Transportation: School buses will bring your child directly from their school to the Kroc Center, ensuring a smooth transition from school to afterschool care.
  • Flexible Payment Options: Members can join for the entire school year with the convenience of making monthly payments. Cost is $250 per month.
  • Daily Operations: Our afterschool care is open every day from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM, providing a safe and engaging space for your child to learn and grow.
  • Full Camp Days: On school closure days, we offer full camp days for all paid members, ensuring continuous care and fun activities even when school is out.

At Kroc Academy Afterschool Care, we are committed to delivering high-quality programs that foster personal growth, discipline, and achievement.  We help students with their homework, be creative through art projects, engage them with enriching STEM activities and last but not least, lots of playground and sport play time.
