Our homeschool courses are designed with you and your students in mind! We offer extracurricular classes that give your students the ability to socialize, collaborate, work as a team, and get experience in a classroom setting in a safe environment. We believe in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way they should go, and they will not depart from it.” Our classes are designed with life-giving principles and our teachers are here to serve you!
Spring 2026
Registration Fee- The registration fee is $30 per student, due by January 2, 2026.
Tuition- Tuition is paid on a per-course basis
*Scholarships are available to those that qualify*
Final payments for the semester are due by January 2, 2026
Payments made after August 13th are subject to a late fee
Classes with fewer than 5 students may not make the final schedule
Some classes have limited availability and may fill up quickly. If a class reaches its maximum capacity, we will start a waitlist and may offer another class if demand warrants
Parents will be notified of the final schedule by January 3, 2026
Parents/Guardians who plan on leaving the premises while their students are in class must fill out the Parent Release Form
Due to the rising cost of supplies, a small selection of classes will be priced higher

Home School Class Schedule by Felicia Bond
Art Smart
Young artists will explore the elements of art like color, shape, and texture through fun, hands-on projects using a variety of materials. This class encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and self-expression in a playful and supportive environment. Each week, students will complete unique works of art while learning about famous artists and basic art concepts.
Clay Exploration
Designed for ages 6–8, this class introduces students to the fundamentals of clay art. Through guided projects and creative exploration, children will learn shaping, joining, and decorating techniques while expressing their individual creativity.
Creative Critters
Creative Critters blends open-ended art with guided crafting for curious kids ages 5–8. Each class focuses on building imaginative creatures using fun techniques like collage, sculpting, and mixed media. It's all about exploring materials, making messes, and having fun!
Music
This class promotes music literacy through active music making. Students will explore playing instruments, experience playing as a group, and build a solid music foundation. Students may have the opportunity to perform in the recital.
P.E.
Students will experience different exercises and activities that give them a well-balanced connection between fitness and health. The goal of this program is to encourage students to explore various methods to ensure lifetime fitness and health.
Reading and Writing Lab
In this engaging lab, students will build foundational skills in handwriting, spelling, grammar, and reading through interactive, age-appropriate activities. The class is designed to support and enrich each child's current reading and writing development, offering plenty of opportunities for practice and creativity. Students will grow in confidence and skill through guided writing, storytelling, and phonics games.
Science Lab
Students will conduct science experiments that allow students to ask questions, probe for answers, conduct investigations, and collect data. They are engaged in the investigative nature of scientific learning.
Ages 9-18
ACT Prep
This course helps students prepare for all sections of the ACT—English, Math, Reading, and Science—through focused practice, test-taking strategies, and skill-building activities. Students will work with real test materials, receive individualized feedback, and gain the confidence needed to approach the exam with success. Ideal for students aiming to improve scores and reduce test anxiety. This class is designed for students 15+.
Art Out of the Box
Art Out of the Box invites aspiring artists to break free from the ordinary and explore the extraordinary. Unleash your creativity in this innovative class that encourages unconventional artistic expression through a fusion of mediums and avant-garde techniques. Students will embark on a journey to redefine traditional boundaries, fostering a unique and personalized approach to art.
Chess
Sharpen your mind and develop the art of strategic thinking through chess. In this course, students will study chess fundamentals, opening principles, tactical patterns, and endgame techniques. Whether a beginner or an experienced player, participants will strengthen their focus, patience, and analytical skills while deepening their understanding of this classic game.
Clay Creations
Students will explore the fun and versatility of working with clay to create both functional and decorative pieces. They'll learn basic hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction, while expressing their own creative ideas. Projects are designed for all skill levels, and students should come dressed in clothes they don’t mind getting messy!
Cooking & Baking
In this fun and interactive cooking and baking class, students will learn essential kitchen skills, explore creative recipes, and discover the joy of preparing delicious dishes and treats. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this class offers hands-on learning in a supportive and engaging environment. Perfect for young chefs looking to enhance their culinary abilities!
Dollars and Cents: Budget Basics
Learn real-world money skills with fun and confidence! In this course, powered by the Banzai interactive platform, students ages 9-18 will dive into how to budget, save, and spend wisely. Through hands-on simulations you’ll explore different kinds of savings accounts, set your own financial goals, and see how your choices make a difference.
Drawing and Painting Fundamentals
This course introduces students to the essential techniques of drawing and painting, including line, shape, shading, color theory, and composition. Using a variety of materials, students will develop their artistic skills while exploring their own creative style. Projects are designed to build confidence and a strong foundation in both traditional and expressive art forms.
First Aid/CPR
In this hands-on course, students will learn essential life-saving skills including CPR, basic first aid, and how to respond in emergency situations. Instruction follows nationally recognized guidelines and prepares students to take the certification test at the end of the course. Those who successfully complete the test can receive official First Aid/CPR certification for an additional fee.
Government, Civics, and Mississippi History
Students will explore the foundations of U.S. government and civics, including the Constitution, branches of government, and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship. The course also covers Mississippi’s unique history, including its Native American roots to modern times, helping students connect local and national history. Through discussions, projects, and hands-on activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of how government works.
Guitar
A class for students looking to grow in their guitar skill. Students of various experience are welcome; beginner - intermediate. Students can expect to learn music theory, classical repertoire, popular music, play musical games, and learn music composition. Students may have the opportunity to perform in the recital.
Literacy and Creative Writing Lab
This class blends reading comprehension with the art of creative writing to help students grow as confident, expressive writers and thoughtful readers. Students will work through engaging prompts, story-building exercises, and reading discussions, students will strengthen vocabulary, grammar, and narrative skills. The lab encourages creativity while also reinforcing core literacy foundations.
P.E.
This course offers a dynamic blend of fun and fitness. Through engaging activities and games, students explore various sports, learn fundamental movements, and develop teamwork skills in an inclusive and supportive environment. With an emphasis on fostering a love for physical activity, this class aims to instill healthy habits and promote an active lifestyle among young learners.
Piano
A class for beginner-intermediate students looking to learn the fundamentals of piano. Students can expect to learn music theory, classical repertoire, popular music, play musical games, and learn music composition. Students may have the opportunity to perform in the recital.
Science Lab
In this interactive science class, students ages 9–12 become young scientists as they experiment, observe, and learn through hands-on projects. Each session explores key scientific concepts in a fun and engaging way, encouraging curiosity and critical thinking.
Sculpture Magic
Sculpture Magic is a 3D art adventure where kids bring their ideas to life through sculpting! Using a variety of materials like clay, wire, papier-mâché, and found objects, students will explore texture, form, and structure while creating imaginative and magical sculptures. Each class encourages creativity, problem-solving, and experimentation as we build everything from whimsical creatures to abstract designs. It’s messy, magical, and full of hands-on fun!
Spanish
Students will develop listening, speaking, and writing skills along with basic grammar, vocabulary, and verb conjugations. This class uses an eclectic method of instruction, emphasizing conversational exchanges.
