The Salvation Army Summer Camps Made Possible with Donations
Camp Hidden Lake (Lexington, MS), Kroc Center Day Camp & Specialty Camps (Biloxi, MS
teaches new skills, healthy attitudes, and high values.
Mississippi Gulf Coast (May 20, 2022)- Every year, thousands of kids of all ages get a fresh perspective on life as they meet new friends, discover new activities, and experience great adventures through The Salvation Army's summer camp programs.
Camp Hidden Lake
The 300-acre camp experience in Lexington, MS, hosts swimming lessons, adventure and scouting camps, arts and crafts, sporting events, music development, canoeing, and campfires. The Salvation Army is excited to offer several different camping opportunities for a discounted rate of $50 per child for the week:
- Adventure Camp 1: June 20-25 (Girls: 6-12)
- Adventure Camp 2: July 18-23 (Boys: 6-12)

Kroc Camp Programs
The Kroc Center offers a Day Camp for ages 5-12 in a 52,000 square foot facility featuring an indoor aquatic center. Plus, generous outdoor space with a track and field. Specialty camps are available to keep children engaged in areas they are interested in, such as Basketball, Volleyball, Music, and Art.

Summer camp programs provide a structured and positive environment, with counselors trained to keep kids active and safe while helping them have a positive and engaging summer.
“The Salvation Army can offer camp programs at discounted rates because of donations received by our generous community. Your donations help make a positive impact in our children's lives," says Major Jerry Friday, Area Commander.
