“The Salvation Army Kroc Center serves as a beacon of HOPE to our children and families in neighboring communities. After 13 years, there are still people who have not toured the facility. We want individuals, families, and especially children, to have a place of belonging where they can develop skills or discover new interests. Plus, scholarships are available at the Kroc Center,” says Danielle Emery, Kroc Director.

The Center held an open house on September 17, 2011, and by the end of the month had 242 memberships. As of September 2024, the center has welcomed over 2,700 members. While membership is not required for all activities at the Kroc Center, you will get the best bang for your buck, with programs and activities geared toward every age group and individual. Plus, tourist from all over the US visit the Kroc Center’s indoor pool and community events. This year we have sold over 16,500 swim sessions!

The Kroc Center is 52,000 square feet and features a chapel/performing arts center with state-of-the-art audio/visual capabilities; full-sized gymnasium for indoor recreation sports; weight and exercise rooms; dance and aerobic studio; men’s, women’s, and family locker rooms; multi-purpose room/dining hall for Salvation Army and community events; and monitored childcare; classrooms; meeting rooms; and a multi-purpose lobby for art and music exhibits.
