Taste of South Mississippi Returns with Delectable Offerings and Exciting Auctions, Benefiting Scholarships
Mississippi Gulf Coast, March 13, 2024- The Kroc Center of the Mississippi Gulf Coast is thrilled to announce the return of the much-anticipated event, Taste of South Mississippi. Taking place on March 14 at 5:30pm, this culinary event promises to delight food enthusiasts while supporting a worthy cause.
Taste of South Mississippi showcases the Coast’s diverse culinary scene, featuring signature dishes from premier restaurants across the Gulf Coast. Attendees will have the opportunity to savor delectable creations from renowned establishments. From savory appetizers to decadent desserts, there will be something to tantalize every palate.

In addition to the culinary delights, Taste of South Mississippi will also feature an exciting silent auction, offering an array of coveted items generously donated by local businesses and sponsors. Attendees and supporters alike can bid on exclusive experiences, luxury items, and much more, all while contributing to a meaningful cause.
"We are thrilled to host Taste of South Mississippi, celebrating the vibrant culinary culture of our region while raising funds for scholarships," said Danielle Emery, Kroc Director of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. "This event not only offers a unique culinary experience but also provides an opportunity for our community to come together in support of of our scholarship progam and the community’s youth."
Even those unable to attend the event in person can still participate by bidding for silent auction items online or making donations to the scholarship fund. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help the Kroc Center of the Mississippi Gulf Coast reach its fundraising goal of $45,000 and make a positive impact in the lives of people in our community.
