Captains Zach and Breann Good, who have served as Congregational Life Officers for the Kroc Corps and Pascagoula Corps, will be moving to Chattanooga, Tennessee, where they will assume leadership as Corps Officers. During their time on the Coast, the Goods led worship services, developed church programs, and cared for their church community. Their passion for spiritual growth, youth engagement, and family ministry that will go with them in their future endeavors.

Reflecting on his time in Mississippi, Major Jerry Friday shared, “It has been an honor to serve alongside such a passionate team and in a community that truly cares for its neighbors. The Mississippi Gulf Coast is full of resilient, compassionate people, and I will carry this experience with me as I begin this next chapter in Texas.”

The Salvation Army extends heartfelt gratitude to Major Friday and Captains Good for their faithful service. They will be greatly missed by staff, volunteers, and all those whose lives they’ve impacted.
