FOOD PANTRY & KIDS’ CAFE

One in six people in Louisville is food insecure, often unsure about how much food they’ll have to eat each day. Children and seniors face hunger at higher rates than other adults.

The Salvation Army combats food insecurity by partnering with Dare to Care to:

Distribute more than 1,600 food boxes to feed over 3,000 people every year at our main campus on Brook Street. Food boxes provide an enough food for about 3 meals a week.

The Pantry is open for Food box pick up on Tuesdays at 1 PM. Please call the Center of Hope at 502-671-4900 to reserve a food box.

Photo ID is required at the time of pick-up (Driver's License or State ID Card). In addition, we will accept a Social Security Card, Passport Card or Birth Certificates for children.

Provide summer day camp lunch and Kids’ Café Dinner at our South and Portland Corps community centers during the school year.
