Second of three coat giveaways this Saturday
Thanks to donations from WRAL's Coats for the Children program, as well as other donations from the community, The Salvation Army of Wake County distributes warm coats to those in need during the winter season.
We will be distributing coats to help families prepare for cold weather, this Saturday, November 5 from 10:00 a.m. - 12 Noon at The Salvation Army of Wake County Center of Hope, 1863 Capital Blvd., Raleigh.
YOU MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
* Parent and any Adult in the household needs:
o A Government Issued Photo ID
o Proof that you are a Wake County resident (such as an I.D., recent utility bill or rent recent with your name and address here in Wake County)
* For children in the household you need:
o A formal document with both the parent(s) and child’s name on it (such as a birth certificate, shot records, OR Medicaid card)
Each household/individual may come once per winter season for coats. Each person in the house is allowed one coat.
