Salvation Army teams up to serve at Master’s Table during COVID-19

AUGUSTA (WFXG) – Golden Harvest Food Bank and The Salvation Army of Augusta are teaming up to provide meals for those in need.

Starting Tuesday, July 21 and running through Friday, July 24, food provided by Golden Harvest will be prepared at the Salvation Army’s downtown facility and driver to the Master’s Table on Fenwick St. Guests will be served out of Salvation Army trucks by staff and volunteers.

"This is what we do," said Maj. Douglas McClure, The Salvation Army of Augusta's Area Commander. "We've got a longstanding relationship with Golden Harvest. When one of our partners needs our help, then we will do what we can do be there for them."
