CAROLINAS MUSIC & ARTS CONSERVATORY

STAFF INFORMATION

Welcome Potential Staff!

We are glad to see you are interested in working at Conservatory this summer. We strive to hire the best team possible to have a successful summer of learning, fun, and growing closer to Christ. Below is a list of all positions currently available for this summer with a brief description.

APPLY

There are three levels of instructor positions we hire based on education and experience: Instructor, Assistant Instructor, and Junior Instructor. All instructors will each have at least one specific field of instruction either in Acting, Brass, Choral, Dance, Guitar, Percussion, and Piano. All students and employees participate in chorus. So, some instructors may choose to lead a major class (such as a guitar) and a chorus. Instructors also lead and/or assist with electives and music theory classes. All instructors live in staff lodging.

Instructor Pay Range: $375 - $475/week
Assistant Instructor Pay Range: $300 - $350/week
Junior Instructor Pay: $270/week

We hire one Head Male Counselor and one Head Female Counselor for our conservatory program. The head counselors are responsible for cabin life and camper behavior. All counselors participate in chorus and one major a day. It is not required for counselors to have any experience with any music or arts fields, but it is welcome.. The head counselors live in the cabins with the other counselors in a separate room from the campers.

Pay: $450/week

We hire up to five Male Counselors and five Female Counselors for our conservatory program. The counselors are responsible for camper cabin life. All counselors participate in chorus and one major class a day. It is not required for counselors to have any experience with any music or arts fields, but it is welcome. The counselors live in the cabins in a separate room from the campers.

Pay: $375/week

We hire one Program Coordinator for our conservatory program. This person is responsible for overseeing camp activities and evening programs, and helping with various office administrative needs. It is not required for for the program coordinator to have any experience with any music or arts fields, but it is welcome. The program coordinator lives in staff lodging.

Pay Range: $300 - $350/week
