Aaron Jackson

Divisional Music & Arts Director

Aaron Jackson found a love for music and worship early on growing up in The Salvation Army. He has been involved in summer conservatory programs since 2005 and looks forward to the ministry opportunities that come with summer camp each year. He has over 10 years of corps music experience and served as a Boys & Girls Club Music Director in 2015-2016.

Aaron graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a degree in music education certified as a highly qualified educator by the State of North Carolina. Today, Aaron attends the Charlotte Belmont Corps on Sundays and is a percussionist in The Salvation Army Southern Staff Band.

AJ Mitchell

Assistant Divisional Music Director

AJ Mitchell is a multi-instrumentalist from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born and raised in The Salvation Army and has attended summer camps since he was 11. He has been a faithful music and spiritual leader in his corps and the AOK division for over 10 years. He puts God first in all that he does, especially with his music. AJ and his wife Christina are looking forward to being a part of the NSC Division.

AJ graduated from The University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in music production and has years of experience in live sound and studio recording. He has been in multiple Salvation Army brass bands and Praise Bands in the past.

Caitlin Jackson

Divisional Creative Arts Director

Caitlin Jackson took acting classes as a child, and performed with various youth theater companies. She also was active in her local Salvation Army music and arts programs. Caitlin studied Acting & Performing Arts in Newcastle, Australia. She trained in acting, dance, voice, musical theater, directing, producing, and writing. 

In 2015 Caitlin moved from Australia to Charlotte, NC, to work as the Divisional Creative Arts Director for North & South Carolina. She loves working with artists to create unique and original works that captivate audiences and glorify God. Caitlin is also an experienced worship leader, who loves to fuse creative ministry with contemporary worship.

Jennifer Goude

Youth & Music Department Secretary

Jennifer Goude is a fourth generation Salvationist. She originates from Texas but, following her father’s retirement from the military, settled in Charleston, SC. She started working in the mail room at Divisional Headquarters in August 1994. Jennifer moved in to the Youth & Candidates department in 2001 and then finally to Youth & Music in January 2012. She is an active member of the Charlotte Temple Corps as a Sunday school teacher and Moonbeam leader.
