The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club

Great Futures Start Here.

Support local youth

The mission of The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Academic Success

The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club serves school-age youth. We provide assistance with homework and school assignments, as well as the teaching and advancement of literacy and study skills.

Healthy Lifestyles

Healthy minds and healthy bodies are crucial elements of youth development. Our programs offer children a safe space to play sports, learn athletic skills, and cultivate healthy, safe relationships with friends through better social interactions.

Enhancement Activities

Our youth community programs enable children to experience additional education in positive environments. Our classes focus on a variety of skills ranging from computer science to art.

Character, Leadership, and Spiritual Development

The Boys & Girls Club is dedicated to helping students discover their full potential. We offer life skill trainings and career discovery days. Students are also given opportunities to develop their own relationship with God.

In 2021, The Club Served 184 OKC Youth

The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club in Central Oklahoma offers young people a place to succeed academically, develop and grow good character and leadership skills, engage in healthy lifestyle activities, and find a spiritual foundation. At the Club, kids find the love and acceptance they need to have great futures!

"The Greatest Help to Me"

Shantel found herself in need of out-of-school care for her two children when she went back to school to study nursing. After finding out about the Boys & Girls Club, she enrolled her children. "Everyone at the Club is so welcoming, and the staff are truly interested in my children," Shantel says. "I have seen growth in both children's school work and their personalities have just blossomed." She continued that "having my children attend The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club has been the greatest help to me as a single mom."

Club Membership

The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club membership allows youth to access all of our programs and opportunities offered at the Club. Membership forms and dues are accepted through the year, and all memberships must be renewed in August of each year.

It takes an army of people, a safe environment, high-quality programs and unique experiences to level the playing field for all kids. The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Oklahoma City doesn’t do just one thing, we do whatever it takes to build great futures for Oklahoma’s youth.
