Our Doors are Always Open Image

Our Doors are Always Open

Everyone should have a safe place to rest their head.

How we help provide shelter

We offer an emergency overnight shelter for those who find themselves without a home. Single women, single men and families are welcome.

Oklahoma and Cleveland County Shelters
Our shelters are designed to give individuals a place to rest as they navigate their next best steps towards success. Once an individual checks into our shelter, our case managers will meet with them to discuss their needs. They are given an assessment used to evaluate their vulnerability level to ensure we are helping them in the best way possible.

Warming Center
When windchill temperature is 32 degrees or below we open our cold-weather warming centers. This helps keep people safe and warm in critical temperatures. Even if our shelter beds are full, we create space and provide cots and blankets to people needing a warm place to stay during the day and night.

"Freedom to Breathe"

"I was so overwhelmed" said Morgan, the mother of two young sons. "When you don't know where your kids are going to sleep, it's hard to think about anything else", she continued. "I am so grateful for The Salvation Army, because knowing I had a safe and clean space to rest, gave me the freedom to breathe."
