The Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma changes lives for the better everyday, but it never does it alone.

Volunteer

Volunteer Opportunities:

Whether you're eager to lend a hand individually or as part of a team, we offer diverse opportunities, both one-off and ongoing.

Red Shield Diner Provide, Prepare, and Serve :

Immerse your group in the heart of giving at our Red Shield Diner, where every day brings an opportunity to prepare and serve meals to those in need. Join us from 3 PM to 6 PM, or opt for a meal drop-off by 3:30 PM. Opportunity available in Cleveland and Oklahoma counties.

Night Watch:

Every Tuesday and Thursday evening, we embark on a compassionate journey through various sections of OKC, reaching out to our homeless community with warmth and sustenance. From 9 AM to 11 AM, volunteers are also welcome to assemble sandwiches for distribution.

Food Pantry:

Combat hunger firsthand by assembling food boxes and replenishing our pantry shelves. Join us from 8:30 AM to noon or from 1 PM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling available. Opportunity available in Cleveland and Oklahoma counties.

Boys and Girls Club:

Invest in the bright futures of our youth by dedicating your afternoons to The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club. Provide mentorship to those who need it most.

Transportation Assistance:

Play a crucial role in delivering sustenance to our senior centers across Oklahoma City. Simply pick up food from our location at 1001 N. Pennsylvania Ave, OKC, from Monday to Thursday, 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, with no lifting required.

Senior Center Support:

We're on the lookout for volunteers with unique talents and gifts to enrich the lives of our cherished seniors.

Disaster Relief:

Join our team of volunteers, ready to mobilize and provide aid in times of crisis. Attend our comprehensive Disaster Training courses and be prepared to make a difference when disaster strikes. Opportunity available for all counties.
