Spiritual Ministries

When you think of The Salvation Army you may think of our brand promise, ‘Doing the Most Good‘, Red Kettle Campaign, our Disaster Services, or feeding programs. However, what many people do know know is that The Salvation Army is primarily a Christian church. We meet people’s physical needs and heal souls through our spiritual ministry, sharing the love of Jesus Christ. We want to help you explore what it means to have a personal relationship with God.

Whether church is already part of your life or you are experiencing faith for the first time, you are always welcome at any of our Worship and Service Centers in Texas. The Salvation Army is a church home to many on Sundays, but we also offer spiritual ministry during the week.

Sunday Worship & Study

The Salvation Army offers a Worship Service, plus programming for adults and children every Sunday. Salvation Army Officers are ordained pastors and, in step with our military-style language, our church members are called Soldiers.
