Join Us by Becoming a Member:
The Auxiliary’s initiatives enrich the lives of families at Sally’s House by meeting them at their point of need through fundraisers and programs. The ladies of the Auxiliary have a good time, work hard and live by the mission of “Doing the Most Good”.
The membership year is from September to September. All members will receive ongoing notifications of events, projects, activities and opportunities to serve.
Three Levels of Membership are Offered:
Active/New Member – $100/year
Participates in programs and activities, attends meetings regularly, may vote, hold an office and propose new members.
Supporting Member – $150/year
Attends some meetings, support specific activities and projects, may vote and purpose new members.
Sponsoring Member – $500/year
Provides a donation for a specific project or projects and is not required to attend meetings and does not participate in voting.

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church.
Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
The Women’s Auxiliary of the Salvation Army of Waco, TX exists to support the mission of The Salvation Army and all of its existing projects in our community. The Women’s Auxiliary of Waco, TX organizes and executes special fundraising activities for The Salvation Army Women’s Shelter (Sally’s House) to cover unexpected expenses and special needs. In addition to Sally’s House, the Auxiliary provides volunteers for the Salvation Army of Waco, TX’s existing projects and special community events, as requested.
When we moved to Waco three years ago, The Salvation Army of Waco’s Women’s Auxiliary was the first to extend a friendly hand
and invitation to the group’s meeting. I have known of the Army’s overall service to the communities they serve and had been a
donor to The Salvation Army of Waco. I never realized the scope of services the Salvation Army provides.
Our Women’s Auxiliary is small, yet mighty. These women enthusiastically follow the call to meet human needs with compassion and
empathy. The opportunities to serve are plentiful and the needs are great. The hope these ladies provide in large and in small ways,
makes a difference every day.
We always welcome new members into the Auxiliary. You will be welcomed with open arms.
