The Salvation Army of the Coastal Bend provides many different programs and services that range from sheltering and feeding those experiencing homelessness, to rebuilding communities after natural disasters. We comfort the sick and elderly, support young people through after-school programs, and respond to needs in our community with practical help.

If you need emergency shelter or meals of if you are experiencing homelessness and need help getting back to self-sufficiency, call our Social Services Center at – 1804 Buford St. Corpus Christi, TX 78404 – (361) 884-9497. Our programs help individuals to focus on their needs and successfully transition from homelessness into a home of their own. The Salvation Army’s emergency shelters can assist up to 20 families, 50 single men, and 10 veterans.
